You see, the app has quite a lot of issues in regards to UI. The filter system is badly optimized (takes the whole window and is kinda incomplete), the setting tab and the search engine requires you to have knowledge of coding (something not everyone have), card images are not scalable and the inability to see both your collection and the full catalog at the same time is quite annoying. It's a good app, but has a lot of room for improvement

Do you mean there should be some graphical search expression builder instead / besides text input?

1. I suggest using two tabs.
   One tab's filter would be set to show collection cards only.
   Second and all subsequent tabs would be used for regular searches across all cards. I know two different tabs is not at the same time, ideally you would open two separate windows instead of 2 tabs.

2. Another solution I can see is adding another tab to deck area to see/edit the collection.
   The deck area tabs would become Main Deck, Sideboard, Sample Hand, Collection.

By the way, which solution you'd prefere? 1 - ability to see tabs in separate windows or 2 - show collection as a separate tab in deck area?

True. Do you mean some specific setting that should be edited using UI or you just mean the whole multitude of available settings?

This issue should be separated into several, one issue per problem.
When doing so, be more specific about what task are you performing
when you see that the User Interface should be improved to help with it better.

Also, when possible, tell how would you change the UI to solve the problem.

Otherwise I may not be able to see a good solution that would help you in what you are doing.
