Describe the bug
After adding Mozc as an input method in System Settings, Japanese text input does not work in Plasma Wayland.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Boot Nitrux
  2. Launch System Settings
  3. Go to Input Method
  4. Add Mozc and layout variant
  5. Open the text editor and type
  6. Text is still Latin characters

Expected behavior
Japanese input works in Plasma Wayland.

Desktop (please complete the following information):

  • Nitrux

Additional context
This is a problem with Plasma Wayland.

Configuring Fcitx5 using the KCM in System Settings and the Plasma X11 session allows Japanese text input.
