I've set up East using the instructions, so far I really like the possibilities of this application.

I have been using Spark as my automated spectator connection, but I wanted to get EAST working so that I could have replays and stats on the screen. One issue I'm not sure what is going wrong with, is connecting to my own games. I can join random games as spectator, but have yet to connect to my own games.

The question is, why can't I connect to my own games when I've entered in my own IP address for my Quest 2?

Hi, sorry for taking so long to answer,

You have to set your quest IP in EchoVR IP label
Then you click connect
And finally you check the spectate me box in the spectatorStream section

Hi there, I missed the notification email initially, but just saw the closing one. I wasn't able to get it working the way you're describing, but what I was able to get working was having Spark manage the launching of the games (turned it off in EAST), and then connecting to my headset ip address in EAST for the transitions, layouts, etc... in OBS. Once I got it working for me I've really liked how my stream has been looking. Something else I'd add to the instructions is that I had to use the older version of OBS Websocket. I believe I used version 4.3.3 (not at my computer at the moment) Release obs-websocket 4.3.3 - Windows Hotfix (OBS 21.1 and above) · obsproject/obs-websocket · GitHub https://github.com/obsproject/obs-websocket/releases/tag/4.3.3

Hey, so for the WS of OBS here is the correct version (I updated the Readme) : https://github.com/obsproject/obs-websocket/releases/tag/4.9.1-compat
Can you show me a screen of EAST when you try to spectate your game using EAST?

Yeah, here you will see the spectate me checkbox is blank

I have left that blank so that the Spark app connects in and shows it on my screen, and EAST then manages scene changes, replays and stats. I just checked and I do have OBS Websocket 4.9.1-compat.

Sorry for the delayed response, the holiday season has been exceptionally busy. I added NotBlue#9114 just now.

I usually have availability to play (troubleshoot) VR around 10pm EST. Hopefully we can connect and I can show you what I'm seeing when I set EAST to initiate the match joining.
