Initial release - gotta start somewhere

This is the initial release of Habitat. This is the start and there are certainly a number of features to add and implementation details to improve upon. What's here works.

It may be worth noting that I'm an exec and I don't write software for a living. In other words, this may not be properly Pythonic and there may be all sorts of other ways to improve what I've started. I'd be thrilled to have real engineers help to make this better.
