@Mohron I have set up the USER permission for default and admin Permission for admin, but if I have * permission, I will also vanished on login no matter which group I inharited.

Why would you leave a link and closing this issue?

Yes, remove * from your user. It completely breaks the functionality of some plugins (such as grief prevention), and some areas in nucleus. Mohron linked that page so you can replace * with actual permissions.

We get asked a lot, that FAQ item explains it, which is why he left that link. I would have done the same thing.

This is not a bug or new feature, so this gets closed. Github is not for support.

OK, now I understand, and I also suggest you to add the note NOW STOP GIVING * PERMISSION TO ANY PLAYER in that page, it will be clearly for users to realized that giving * permission was not standardly operation.

Is that suggestion(me) rude?

It should be common practice to not use * for anyone, as that setups everything to true - each plugin got a well documentet description of their permissions, and in the most cases aliases is used - eg. nuclues with mod etc.

don‘t push that to a common practice, not every user have enough experience to make everything goes correctly, and that was not the friendly attitude as a Sponge Contributor, making notes was not a difficult thing for us, isn't it? This is the responsibility that we do not have to shirk as a developer.

using * as permission node is a old old bukkit thing, and it should just die with bukkit :) (I got plugins on bukkit too, so yeah ;))
I am not a sponge Contributer, and Comment is not very hard anyway ;).
I am not sure what you mean with your comment.

since you asked your comment (atleast the last one) is very rude, as it seems like a personal attack on me, which it might not be, but it feels that way, either way ¯_(ツ)_/¯

but adding a comment about do not use * is IMO not needed as you should never use * anyway :), adding comments in the code or wiki about * would only be useful for anyone besides the people not able to read the full documentation, where it is listed that nucleus provide ways to handle this./
