So you want me to move the whole module to the OCA/social? I'm a bit short on git skills, but would it be OK to delete it from here and add it to OCA/social? Or is there a smarter way that would preserve history?

Yes, please. We create it that repo after the merge of this module, so for 8.0 we didn't want to move it for keeping stability. But now for 9.0 we can do it.
