Comments reported:

  1. ResInsight freezes when editing root folder manually
  2. Path filter must start with '*/'
  3. Progress bar with cancel is on the wishlist
  4. Save filter settings between dialogs (in the same session)

Answers:

  1. Not able to reproduce. However, if the directory structure is large, ResInsight will freeze while the directory structure is traversed.
  2. Not correct. Path filter does not need to start with '*/'. Will add separate field 'Effective filter' which will make filtering easier to understand
  3. Will add list of files found with a cancel button
  4. Will fix this

Added 'effective filter' and file list to improve user experience. The cancel button stops processing and closes the dialog. Filters and directory input are saved between dialog instances.
