Code of Conduct

As contributors and maintainers of this organization, we pledge to create a welcoming and respectful environment for everyone involved. We value the participation of each individual and strive to foster an atmosphere of collaboration and inclusivity. This Code of Conduct outlines our expectations for all those who participate in our community, as well as the consequences for unacceptable behavior.

Our Standards

Examples of behavior that contributes to creating a positive environment include:

  • Respectful and Inclusive Language: Be kind and considerate in your communication with others. Avoid any offensive or exclusionary language and respect differences in opinions and experiences.

  • Be Open-Minded: Embrace diversity and be open to different perspectives and ideas. Constructive criticism is welcome, but always aim to be courteous.

  • Collaborative and Supportive: Strive to build a supportive community where everyone can freely express their thoughts and opinions. Encourage and help each other grow and learn.

  • Exercise Empathy: Understand that people have varying backgrounds and experiences. Try to empathize with others' points of view and experiences.

  • Be Mindful of Your Words: Your words carry weight, and they can impact others deeply. Be thoughtful in what you say and how you say it.

  • Respectful Disagreement: It is okay to disagree, but do so respectfully. Focus on the issue at hand and refrain from personal attacks or insults.

  • Report Incidents: If you witness or experience any behavior that violates this Code of Conduct, please report it to the maintainers at aryuemaan@yahoo.com.

Unacceptable Behavior

Examples of unacceptable behavior include, but are not limited to:

  • Harassment: Any form of harassment, intimidation, or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or any other personal characteristic will not be tolerated.

  • Trolling and Insults: Deliberate intimidation, trolling, or insulting/derogatory comments aimed at others are unacceptable.

  • Inappropriate Content: Posting or sharing sexually explicit, violent, or otherwise inappropriate content within the community is strictly prohibited.

  • Bullying: Engaging in any behavior that constitutes bullying or intentionally causing discomfort to others is not allowed.

  • Impersonation: Pretending to be someone else or assuming another person's identity is forbidden.

Consequences of Unacceptable Behavior

Participants who engage in unacceptable behavior will be subject to consequences that may include:

  • Warning: For less severe incidents, individuals may receive a warning and be asked to modify their behavior accordingly.

  • Temporary Ban: In more serious cases, a temporary ban from the community may be imposed as a cooling-off period.

  • Permanent Ban: Repeated or severe violations may lead to a permanent ban from the community.

The determination of what constitutes unacceptable behavior will be made by the maintainers of this organization and is not open to debate.

Scope

This Code of Conduct applies to all community spaces, including GitHub repositories, code reviews, issue trackers, community events, and any other forums associated with our organization.

Attribution

We, as members of this organization, are committed to upholding these principles. We ask all contributors and community members to adhere to these guidelines and help ensure a safe and positive experience for everyone involved.
