All other pages

These pages are language specific, see the naming rules.

Rules

Please stick to the following rules:

Page names

All pages (except the wiki homepage) have a two letter language code prefix followed by a colon and the page name in English. This enables finding the respective page in another language.

Examples:

• en:User Guide
• de:User Guide

Page content

The page content including headers are language specific. Exception: wiki homepage.

The page content on this GitHub repository is operator neutral. Use ocelot.social if you need to specify the network name.

Edit message

Always add an edit message in English before saving the page. Examples: info on hashtags added / typo

Additional tasks

If changing a page content

• Advise the translators.

If changing a heading

• Update any links that refer to this heading from other pages.

If changing the page title

• Update any links that refer to this heading from other pages.
• Advise the translators.

If adding a page

• Add links on the Wiki homepage and/or the User Guide homepage.

• Delete links that refer to this page from other pages.
• Delete links from the wiki homepage and/or the user guide homepage.
• Advise the translators.

If adding another language

• Make sure to translate all existing pages on the basis of the English version.
• Add links on the wiki homepage and/or the user guide homepage.
