I've added a couple of files - a Code::Blocks project specifically tweaked to work on Linux systems, and a shell script to install the necessary prerequisites on Debian-like systems (Debian, Ubuntu, Mint, ...).
I've tested this on Linux Mint 14 (64-bit), successfully building the demo ROM and running it on WinCPC.
