An issue has been cropping up where the Tentacle installer of the old Tentacle can not be found. It should be in the Windows Installer cache, but we have had a few reports in recent history where is isn't. The location where Tentacle was installed from is also checked, but we remove it during automatic Tentacle upgrades.

Complicated the uninstall process is the hash mismatch between our bundled Tentacle and the Tentacle available from our downloads page.

It looks like the issue was with the way we were rebuilding Tentacle with every permanent Octopus build, resulting in a mismatch between our bundled and downloaded binaries.
