If you're going to call https://explorer.odeuropa.eu/smells (URL should change?) "Browse", then rather than calling the 798669 items "search results" it's best to just call them "results" or "items" or "smell sources". More generally, however, I'd not call this section "Browse" at all, but "Search" and then remove the extraneous "Search" field in the header area.

@kintopp When hitting https://explorer.odeuropa.eu/smells, you're GETting a collection of smells (their descriptions), so the URL pattern is right.

We can indeed never use the terms "xxx search results" but always use "xxx items" as in effect, the result page you see is a collection of xxx items based on the filters you put. Is this what you're suggesting?

As for the top level entry bar, we changed it to "Browse" (rather than Search) some time ago to distinguish from the "Search bar" on the top right which has a different behavior (searching on anything). The "Browse" is accurate in the sense that you're browsing through a collection of smells and aim to apply filter to narrow down the set until you find the results (smells) you're searching for, or, serendipitously discovering.
