Privacy Policy

Clik (“we” or “us” or “our”) respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it through our compliance with this privacy policy (the “Policy”). This policy describes procedures regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information from Users of our Application.

By accessing our Application, you agree to this Privacy Policy in addition to any other agreements we might have with you.

We reserve the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy at any time and for any reason. We will alert you about any changes by updating the “Last updated” date of this Privacy Policy. You are encouraged to periodically review this Privacy Policy to stay informed of updates. You will be deemed to have been made aware of, will be subject to, and will be deemed to have accepted the changes in any revised Privacy Policy by your continued use of the Application after the date such revised Privacy Policy is posted.

DEFINITIONS:

  • “Client” means any customer that has entered into an agreement with Clik to use Clik’s services.

  • “Cookies” These are small file of letters and numbers that we store on your browser.

  • “PII” “Personally Identifiable Information”, and/or “Personal Information” means any information that may identify an individual, directly or indirectly. Examples of PII include, but are not limited to, first and last name, home address, email address, telephone number, etc. PII does not include information that is anonymous and other information that is excluded from the scope of applicable privacy and data protection laws.

  • “Affiliate” means an entity that controls, is controlled by, or is under common control with another party.

1. Information We Collect and How We Collect It

We may collect a variety of Information from or about you or your devices from various sources.

2. Information You Voluntarily Provide to Us

2.1. Registration and Profile Information:

You may choose to sign up for an account on our mobile application. We may ask you for your name, email address, country location, and date of birth.

2.2. Communications:

If you contact us directly, we may receive additional Personal Information about you. For example, if you contact us for technical support, we may receive your name, email address, phone number, the contents of your message, attachments that you may send to us, and other Personal Information you choose to provide. If you subscribe to our newsletter, we will collect Personal Information such as your email address. When we send you emails, we may track whether you open them to learn how to deliver a better experience and improve our Services.

3. Automatic Information Collection

3.1. We receive technical information when you use our Application.

We use these technologies to analyze:

  • Location Information: When you use our Application, we may approximate your geographic region and Internet Service Provider based on your internet protocol (IP) address. We would collect and store a user’s location information through several analytic tools. Clik will not share a user’s location information with third parties and will instead use the location information we collect to provide more relevant data to the user and to generally enhance our understanding of our user base.

  • Usage Information: To help us understand how you use our Services and to help us improve them, we automatically receive information about your interactions with our services, like log files, performance logs, or other content you view, the searches you conduct, your comments, and any content you post, the dates and times, and duration of your visits.

4. Information from Cookies and Similar Technologies

4.1. We may use cookies, web beacons, tracking pixels, and other tracking technologies on the Application to help customize and improve your experience.

When you access the Application, your Personal information is not collected through the use of tracking technology. Most browsers are set to accept cookies by default. You can remove or reject cookies, but be aware that such action could affect the availability and functionality of the Application. You may not decline web beacons. However, the web beacons can be rendered ineffective by declining all cookies or by modifying your browser’s settings to notify you each time a cookie is tendered, permitting you to accept or decline cookies on an individual basis.

5.1. Having accurate information about you permits us to provide you with a smooth, efficient, and customized experience. Specifically, we may use information collected about you via the Application to:

  • Enable user-to-user communications.
  • Increase the efficiency and operation of the Application.

You can also opt out of certain types of data processing, such as personalized advertisements, by adjusting your device's settings or contacting us directly.

6. DISCLOSURE OF YOUR INFORMATION

6.1. Affiliates:

We may share your Personal Information with our affiliates for any of the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

6.2. As Required by Law and Similar Disclosures:

We may access, preserve, and disclose your Personal Information if we believe doing so is required or appropriate to:

  • protect your, our, or others' rights, property, or safety. For the avoidance of doubt, the disclosure of your Personal Information may occur if you post any objectionable content on or through the Services.

6.3. Merger, Sale or Other Asset Transfers:

We may disclose your Personal Information to service providers, advisors, potential transactional partners, or other third parties in connection with the consideration, negotiation, or completion of a corporate transaction in which we are acquired by, merged with another company, or we sell, liquidate, or transfer all or a portion of our assets.

6.4. With Your Consent:

We may also disclose your Personal Information with your permission.

6.5. The above mentioned third parties ("Authorized Third Parties") may be located in countries other than your own, and we may send them information we receive.

When such Authorized Third Parties process your Personal Information on our behalf, we will make reasonable efforts to ensure that they comply with obligations similar to those which are set forth in this Privacy Policy. We will also ensure that they abide by our data protection laws and security requirements and use the Personal Information solely for the purposes set out by us. We will transfer your Personal Information while using appropriate and suitable safeguards and a variety of legal mechanisms, including contracts, to ensure your rights and protections travel with your data.

7. Your Choices About Our Collection, Use and Disclosure of Your Information

7.1. We strive to provide you with choices regarding the Personal information you provide to us.

This section describes mechanisms we provide for you to control certain uses and disclosures of your information.

  • Marketing Communications: You have the right to object if we are processing your PII for direct marketing purposes. You can unsubscribe from Clik’s own marketing emails at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link they contain or by accessing the Email link they contain or by accessing the Email Preferences Center. Individuals also can choose whether their PII is
    • to be disclosed to a third party or;
    • to be used for a purpose other than the purpose for which it was originally collected or subsequently authorized by the individual.

7.2. In accordance with applicable law, you may have the right to:

  • Access Personal Information: You may request confirmation to verify whether your Personal Information is being processed and obtain a copy of the categories of Personal Information we may have collected on your behalf.
  • Request Correction: You may request correction of your Personal Information where it is inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated. You may update your Personal Information within your Clik accounts by logging in and updating your profile.
  • Request Deletion (“Opt Out”) or Withdraw Consent: You may request to remove your PII from our records. Note that if your Personal Information is deleted, you may no longer access or be able to use certain Services, and any account you have with us may become deactivated.

8. How to Block Cookies

8.1. You can block Cookies by setting your internet browser to block some or all Cookies.

You can withdraw your consent at any time by deleting placed Cookies and disabling Cookies in your browser. You can change your browser settings to block or notify you when you receive a Cookie, delete Cookies, or browse our Services using your browser’s anonymous usage setting.

8.2. Please refer to your browser instructions or help screen to learn more about how to adjust or modify your browser settings.

If you do not agree to our use of Cookies or similar technologies which store information on your device, you should change your browser settings accordingly. If you use your browser settings to block all Cookies (including essential Cookies) you may not be able to access all or parts of our Services, and some features of our Website may not function properly.

9. Data Security

9.1. We have put in place reasonable security systems designed to prevent unauthorized access to or disclosure of Personal information, and we take reasonable steps to secure and safeguard this information against loss, theft, unauthorized use, disclosure, or modification. With that said, there is no such thing as 100% security of the networks, servers, and databases we operate or that are operated on our behalf. You are responsible for taking reasonable steps to protect your Personal Information against unauthorized disclosure or misuse.

10. Links to External Sites

Our Application may contain links to websites created and maintained by other public or private organizations that we do not own or operate. We provide these links as a service to our Users. Please note that when you follow a link to an external site, you will be leaving Clik’s Services and are subject to the privacy and security policies of the site to which you are visiting. Clik is not responsible for the security and privacy practices of these third parties or the content of such external sites.

11. Data Retention

11.1. We take measures to delete your Personal Information or keep it in a form that does not permit identifying you when your Personal Information is no longer necessary for the purposes for which we process it unless we are required by law to keep your Personal Information for a longer period. When determining the specific retention period, we consider various factors, such as the type of service provided to you, the nature and length of our relationship with you, and mandatory retention periods provided by law.
