Should an investor be able to reduce the amount of his investment (to zero, possibly) before the Deadline expires? #94
Comments
Should be an optional parameter, with issuer being able to define the penalty fee as a %. |
Since investment send is deprecated now in favour of simple send, this would require an additional transaction type (cancel investment) or similar. Everything I've ever invested in Crypto has been irreversible - how critical is it for users to be able to reverse their investments? And do those running the fundraiser want them to be able to do so? |
This is a nice to have. Thanks, Dominik Zynis On Tue, Mar 25, 2014 at 9:19 PM, zathras-crypto notifications@github.comwrote:

Definitely not for the current iteration. Ron Gross On Tue, Mar 25, 2014 at 10:31 PM, Dominik notifications@github.com wrote:

Closing this until such time that our users clamor for it (hopefully never) |
(originally in #93)
Unforeseen changes could drive an investor to want to do that. He can increase his investment with additional Investment Sends. We'd want some mechanism, e.g. a penalty fee, to discourage malicious reductions in investment amounts.
