Execute commands when interpreter is not running

We have an issue regarding command execution when the interpreter is not running, In this situation, only engine commands such as Start/Pause can be executed. Other commands, for instance Uod commands can be added to the engine's command queue, but are not executed until the interpreter is started by clicking Start.
