What

Remove any traits or specifications from the OpenAssetIO repository, and migrate to MediaCreation.

Why

OpenAssetIO is application agnostic. The current traits defined in traits/managementPolicy.py are potentially specific to our limited set of initial workflows in the Media Creation space. In order to prevent conflict between uses of the API in other sectors, these should be split into industry specific definitions.

ACs

  • No Traits or Specifications defined in the OpenAssetIO repository.
  • Existing traits migrated to the OpenAssetIO-MediaCreation repository.

This trait was recently removed from the OpenAssetIO core API as it is
too specific to MediaCreation, and so this is its new long-term home.

Part of OpenAssetIO/OpenAssetIO#717.
