Once the hatchery room has been added, creatures should get an additional parameter making them grow hungry as the time flies. from 0 to 100% hungry.
It will work much like the Quarter rooms as when hungry (<= 33%), a creature will go back to the hatchery room, fetch a chicken, slay it, filling is hunger by something like one quarter % and go back to what it was doing.
