I noticed the same on 4.1.2 (4.2beta2).

Screen goes black and basically nothing happens. Press stop and we are back to the menu.

Backend is mythtv 0.27.

cmyth client is 1.9.16.

I start to play a Live TV channel here:

14:50:56 T:140341864351552 NOTICE: DVDPlayer: Opening: pvr://channels/tv/All TV channels/1.pvr

Works fine on Openelec 4.0.7.

Sorry to bump but this is getting pretty frustrating, I have posted here, forum.xbmc.org and the openelec forums. All I get is stony silence regarding a showstopper bug.

Use the latest stable, please. You are running a beta version - which can
and will break from time to time.

I am running the beta to help test it. I am posting a bug report. I am
surprised no one is interested.

I am pleased to confirm that (4.1.4) works on my ion system (although the system I was testing before was an Intel one, so I'll check that too). Thanks.

And it works on the intel (Celeron 1037U) too. If any more testing around cmyth is wanted, let me know.
