The OpenGamma Izy project (OG-Izy) is intended to provide a vector oriented API to allow access to core maths functionality (like that found in system "libm", but vectorised!). The project has a reference library that implements the API and makes calls to the local native maths library. However, the backing can easily be swapped to a chip vendor specific implementation for added performance.
OG-Izy is intended for use as part of the OG-Maths library. For further information on the OG-Maths library, see The OG-Maths homepage. For information on building OG-Izy from source, see the INSTALL.md file.
The OG-Izy library is open source software using the Apache License v2, and includes components provided under other licences. For a full list of licences and the source files to which they pertain, see LICENSE.txt. The company behind OG-Izy (OpenGamma) also offers support and some additional commercial components. (The commercial components typically have dependencies with restrictive licensing incompatible with open source.) This README only refers to the open source components.
NOTE: All commits prior to SHA 0541cfe14b9e84b64003c9dec5f5ccb7c09518cb are missing one or more license notations, details of the licenses which apply to these prior versions can be found in the most current version of LICENSE.txt.
