<p><b><a href="https://docfilmpool.org" target="_blank">DOCFILMPOOL e.V.</a></b><br>
<b>Creative and collective filmmaking in times of Covid-19 and beyond</b><br>
The registered association DOCFILMPOOL e.V. was founded by members of the German Association of Documentary Filmmakers (AG DOK) during the "Covid-19 shutdown" to enable new ways of collaboration between filmmakers. A steadily growing collection of digital footage is being created for DOCFILMPOOL e.V.. The pool consists of material created by both members and non-members and is available under specific license conditions. DOCFILMPOOL e.V. provides a legal framework in which a variety of audio-visual projects using this footage can be created and published.</b>

<b><a href="https://www.dokfest-muenchen.de/" target="_blank">DOKfest München</a></b><br>
DOK.fest Munich is the first major German documentary film festival to be held online due to the Covid-19 crisis. All three competition series take place as planned: DOK.international, DOK.deutsch and DOK.horizonte - and all 14 prizes are awarded. 121 films from 42 countries will be presented in the online edition of the festival, therefore showing the bulk of the 159 films that had already been confirmed for the regular festival.

The first wave of films created during the initial weeks of the pandemic, despite all the restrictions, were made by filmmakers associated with the German documentary associations <a href="https://agdok.de/" target="_blank">AG DOK</a> and <a href="https://docfilmpool.org" target="_blank">DOCFILMPOOL e.V.</a>.

<p><b><a href="http://www.docfilm42.de" target="_blank">www.docfilm42.de</a></b><br>docfilm42 wurde von Dokumentarfilmschaffenden gegründet, um eine Plattform für unabhängig produzierte Dokumentarfilme aufzubauen. Die Vereinsgründung von docfilm42 e.V. erfolgte am 26.2.2020 in Berlin. <br>
docfilm42 setzt auf Vielfalt und Nonkonformität und verhilft gesellschaflicher Diversität zu mehr Sichtbarkeit. Die Plattform verknüpft Informationen über Dokumentarfilme mit Communities. Sie schafft einen Knotenpunkt zwischen verschiedenen Akteuren, (Filmschaffende, Publikum, Organisationen, Medien, Streamingplattformen, Initiativen etc.).<br>
Unsere Initiative versteht sich als Ergänzung zu bestehenden Angeboten und ist ein nichtkommerzielles Projekt, das nicht in Konkurrenz zu Streamingportalen steht. docfilm42 selbst ist weder ein Programmveranstalter noch ein Streamingdienst.<br>
Die Filmschaffenden, deren Filme auf dieser Seite präsentiert werden, veranstalten auch Kinovorführungen mit Filmgesprächen. Dafür finden Kooperationen mit verschiedenen Programmkinos statt. Diese und andere Events werden auf dieser Seite beworben und im Kalender angekündigt. <br>
docfilm42 kooperiert mit der <a href="https://agdok.de/" target="_blank">AG DOK</a>, Deutschlands größtem Berufsverband für Filmschaffende sowie mit der Streamingplattform <a href="https://realeyz.de/" target="_blank">realeyz.de</a>, bei der docfilm42 mit einem eigenen Channel vertreten ist. Die auf docfilm42.de präsentierten Filme sind teilweise bei <a href="https://realeyz.de/" target="_blank">realeyz.de</a>, jedoch auch bei anderen Streamingplattformen abrufbar. <br>
Das Angebot an Filmen bei docfilm42 wird monatlich erweitert. Die Auswahl wird nach transparenten Kriterien und von einem Team nach Gesichtspunkten wie Thema, Diversität, gesellschaftlicher Relevanz etc. getroffen. <br>
Darüberhinaus werden die Filme und Veranstaltungen inhaltlich in einem Blog in <a href="https://medium.com/docfilm42" target="_blank">englischer</a> und <a href="https://docfilm42.de/blog-news/" target="_blank">deutscher</a> Sprache eingebettet und besprochen.</p>
