For a better integration in Gnome / Ubuntu Unity we should set the sun.awt.X11.XToolkit.awtAppClassName class variable for the applications. Unfortunately this requires an ugly hack, because this variable declared private. Hopefully the OpenJDK guys will find a solution for this in the future.
