Summary of Issue

Exception when promoting a variable with src_indices at two different hierarchy levels.

Issue Type

Description

See example. This may require discussion, as I am not sure what behavior it should have when you specify src_indices and flat_src_indices at 2 hiearchy levels. My gut feeling is that the outermost ones should replace the inner ones.

If the decision is to raise an exception instead, then add an error that the user can understand.

Environment

<For bugs, otherwise N/A>

Operating System: <i.e. OS X 10.14.6, Windows 10, Ubuntu 16.04>

Python environment: <i.e. Anaconda Python 3.7.1>

Packages: <versions of Dymos, OpenMDAO, and other pertinent Python packages. You can just paste the output of pip freeze or conda list here.>
