It might be possible to secure some time to a Project Manager - what can they do that is maximally impactful? @mattodd's suggestion is the improvement of the wiki and folding in new data/ideas as they come in. In particular a new section at the start of the page on what's new/being done right now.

I'm still thinking that someone who is scientifically trained but not in the lab could make the biggest impact by bringing the wiki up to date, and in generating new insights from the known data.

Suggestion is that Coline Legrand from MMV can assist with i) assessing what was most needed on the landing page and ii) writing parts of the wiki. Action: Mat to forward details and sample tasks to Coline to see if this would work. Closing for now - added as action item to agenda of March 2014 meeting.
