If the current OTU mapping scheme is too slow/painful, we should try to support bulk mapping (hopefully using the curator's mapping hints).

If this is initiated from the curation app, we should probably block this part of the UI til it's done.

How/when would a human approve these OTU mappings?

No work on this yet. Not surprisingly, big studies are a pain to map in the current (AJAX-powered) UI.

Perhaps a quick fix via pagination options? Show 100, or 1000, or Show All? I'll need to test this for performance issues..
