Combine (IR) Air Conditioner and SwitchBot Meter into single AC unit?

Not sure if I'm missing a step somewhere, but would it be possible to combine an Air Conditioner (IR via switchbot hub) and a SwitchBot Meter into a single device in homekit?

For some reason, the IR AC seems to be stuck on some default temp which throws off the temp range for that room in homekit, so it would be great if it could at least use the temp from a meter of choice.

Hey @donavanbecker, I'm pretty new to the HAP api, but does this need to be updated to use the target temperature/TargetTemperature instead of the current temperature?

I think if we update it, we would have to make it a variable, so if meter/hub is selected then use Target Temperature and if not then use current temperature.

After some more research, it seems like the plugin is using the HeaterCooler Service which doesn't support a TargetTemperature like the Thermostat Service does.

We may be able to use HeatingThresholdTemperature and/or CoolingThresholdTemperature instead. I believe some of the other Homebridge plugins that use the HeaterCooler Service will sometimes set both HeatingThresholdTemperature/CoolingThresholdTemperature at the same time.

Adjusting the temperature seems to be working for me we these changes: mrlt8@309cdc8

@mrlt8 I believe your assumption is correct, since I too am utilizing a different plugin known as "Homebridge MELCloud Control", and discovered that it adjusts both HeatingThresholdTemperature/CoolingThresholdTemperature at the same time.
