2024 EPA Openscapes Champions Cohort

Welcome to the 2024 EPA Cohort! This is a Cohort for the U.S Environmental Protection Agency, Center for Environmental Measurement and Modeling (CEMM). Learn more about Openscapes and the EPA CEMM. Learn more about Openscapes, the Champions Program, and the EPA CEMM.

Cohort Agendas

We will meet as a Cohort via Zoom five times over two months for 1.5 hours each:

  • Dates: April 10, 24, May 8, 22, June 5
  • Times: 1:00 - 2:30 pm ET / 10:00 - 11:30 am PT
  • Location: Remotely, via MS Teams

Agendas are accessible to Cohort participants in our Cohort Teams Drive Folder; they are also an archive of our live notetaking. Please see openscapes.org/series to view blank versions of the agendas.

Co-working times (optional)

Co-working sessions are where we work at the same time together. Sometimes, this means quiet work with check-ins to break up focused work and get feedback, and sometimes this involves asking questions and screensharing to learn and problem solve.

  • Dates: Thursdays April 18, May 2, 16, 30
  • Times: 11:00 - 12:00 PT / 2:00 - 3:00 pm ET
  • Location: remotely, via Teams

Participating teams and individuals

Some brief information about participating teams and individual scientists in the cohort. Please add any edits directly (we’ll learn how in our GitHub Clinic!). Take some inspiration from NOAA Fisheries Champions teams.

You might add:

  • What kind of team you are (cross-divisional) or where you are from (division focusing on...)
  • Links to your program and what you are working on together
  • Brief description of your potential projects
  • Who is on your team
