Reference discussion.

It will be great that furure Optiboot version provides the following capability if possible.

How can AVRDUDE tell how many pages the optiboot binary occupies?
How can AVRDUDE tell whether the optiboot binary can read/write EEPROM?
How can AVRDUDE tell whether the optiboot binary is a vector bootloader or not? If so, which vector was used?
