About The Project

We have created a gateaway available in mobile devices and web. We believe that transmitting Earth Observations in a user-friendly interface can help people make desicions on a daily basis. Our app gathers information from NASA and The Mexican Sapce Agency to generate a prediction algorithm on how the pollution levels and rain forecast will be on the selected day input by the user. We believe our prediction algorithm provides the user with the best accuracy in real time. With more than 80% of accuracy.

How does this help users?

• They can filter inside the app what information they want to see
• After the filter they can select a date input to receive recomendations
• The recommendations are easy and interactive 😄

The reason why Earth Obervation gateaways are not used, is the difficulty to understand the data. Most users are not familiar with this language and find it confusing to understand. Our gateaway can be used and understand by a 10 year old!

Getting Started

We are currently working to launch our platform in Android and Web. But for the mean time here are some steps to build the solution from your computer and then install it on yout mobile device.

Prerequisites

Install Flutter. You can follow the link for the installation steps.

Installation

After installing Flutter you are good to go! Now let us procede in cloning this repository with all the source code 😄

1. Clone the repo

   git clone https://github.com/Oscar6647/SpaceApps-2022-Ometeotl.git

2. Run command in terminal

   flutter pub get

3. Select an emulator, device or web platform in Select Device

4. Run command in terminal

   flutter run

5. You are ready to go! Have fun with our app...
