Add .gitignore to ignore files generated by Module::Build Added a more complete MANIFEST.SKIP. Remove MANIFEST, META.yml and Makefile.PL that are generated by "./Build dist"
Warn about missing Data::Dumper::Names using Carp::carp to report the warning at a useful place for the user of show().

Here is the fix for RT#78440. This is an alternative to #3.
The first commit of the serie also cleanup Module::Build generated files from the repo.
