save to image

Hi David,

i've fixed a minor thing with regard to saving to an image, i hope it makes sense

This is fantastic, and it lays the groundwork for copy-to-clipboard
behavior on Macs, which before just put a black rectangle on the
clipboard. For some reason, it's not working on my mac yet, but it's
much close to working, I think.

Low-hanging fruit, but very important! Thanks!
