PTMagic is the most complete add-on for the crypto-currency trading bot Profit Trailer. It was originally created by Legedric (Christian Kühl) and TwixRaider, for their own personal use, but they decided to release it free to the public in February 2018. It followed a robust development cycle based on user feedback and suggestions, as a FREE tool that anyone could use to maximize the hidden potential of Profit Trailer.
- Automatically update Profit Trailer's settings based on the changing trends of the market, to modify your buy, sell, DCA, indicators, money-management, or any setting.
- Automatically adjust coin-specific settings for each coin based on their individual performance regardless of market trends, for protection from poorly performing coins or to take advantage of coins that are performing well.
- Provides a simplified GUI that allows you to manage your settings and view details about the status of PTMagic and Profit Trailer, current holdings, sales history, calculations on potential DCAs, and current market trends.
PTMagic has been thoroughly reviewed and examined by the Profit Trailer team, and is officially approved for use with their product. PTMagic is completely safe to use -- it doesn't have access to your exchange account or API keys -- it only updates your Profit Trailer settings.
PTMagic will always be completely FREE and OPEN SOURCE! All code contributions are welcome, and will be considered by the developers. We have a few developers working hard to add new features, and keep PTMagic working, and users are welcome to show their appreciation with a small donation.

Define Global Settings based on changing market trends, to automatically modify individual settings and values for Profit Trailer's currently active PAIRS/DCA/INDICATORS settings. PT Magic can change any setting that is available to Profit Trailer.

Manage an unlimited number of setting triggers and strategies. Profit Trailer has a built in ability to switch between "Bear," "Bull," and "Normal" settings based on a 24 hour trend, but with PT Magic there are no limits to the number of market conditions and settings you can specify: e.g., "Tanking," "LongTermBear," "IncomingBear," "OutgoingBear," "SidewaysUp," "SidewaysDown," "IncomingBull," "OutgoingBull," "SuperBull," etc... Using any combination of trends across any combination of timeframes, your bot can recognize a more subtle variety of changing market conditions, allowing you to create a more robust over-all trading strategy that goes beyond a simplistic "bear" or "bull" mentality. Use PT Magic to adjust your money management and risk management settings based on changing market conditions, or individual coin performance. Automatically adjusts initial purchase costs, the number of pairs allowed, leverage, keep-balance percentage, minimum buy volume, sell-wall settings, allowed spread and slippage, and any other PT setting which helps you manage your risk.

With PTMagic there is no need to maintain "whitelists" or "blacklists" of individual coins. Your Single Market Settings can identify coins you wish to avoid based on their age, volume, or past behavior, and turn on Sell Only Mode or even disable them so they don't appear in your PBL, so you don't have to constantly manage such lists.

After the original creator of PTMagic briefly went MIA, those of us committed to continuing the project cloned the repository in December 2018 in order to more easily access, administer, and further develop and update it, to keep it functioning with the latest versions of Profit Trailer. The original repository still contains a history of older issues and enhancement requests for future reference, however it is no longer being updated.
