Objective

Our goal with this project is to learn how to develop REST API's so as to be able to use them professionally. It is our intent to develop a project that involves the use of a backend web server, a database for which the server will interact, a front end web page to show visualizations of the database's data, and a means to software test the rest API. To complete this project, we will follow the tenets of test-driven development.
