This survey was funded by the J.P. Morgan group & the Grameen Foundation, India . It was conducted between May, 2016 & November, 2016. The survey covered 34 villages, 3,450 households & 18,396 individuals in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, one of the country's poorest states.
