The current UI is the native Arduino IDE or Python in the terminal.
This UI_OpenCAT is for our future UI with a better user experience.

I guessed that that was the purpose -- I was joking. Seriously, tho, I pointed the developer of Remi -- a Python-based UI tool -- to you yesterday, telling him that you two would probably have a lot to talk about (his primary vocation is robotics). You can find Remi on GitHub if you're interested...I'm using it now for my current project before I get started on building Nybble. Cheers.
