Hide image metadata by default

The theme enables metadata display by default. This is more due to personal preference rather than a technical requirement.
You can hide the metadata by default by going to Administration -> Plugins -> Local Files Editor -> Personal Plugin
To hide metadata for guests only:
add_event_handler('init', 'no_metadata_for_guests');
function no_metadata_for_guests() {
global $user;
if (is_a_guest()) {
pwg_set_session_var('show_metadata', false);
}
}
To hide metadata for everyone:
add_event_handler('init', 'no_metadata');
function no_metadata() {
pwg_set_session_var('show_metadata', false);
}
The default value can be toggled by using the "Show Metadata" button in the Menu, unless you disabled it in Administration -> Configuration -> Options -> Display.
