Pocket Congress welcomes (and loves) open-source contributions. Contributions to Pocket Congress can earn academic credit, be added to your resumé, and help make federal politics transparent.

If you are not a developer and/or don't have a GitHub account, submit ideas through this Google Form.
Create a new issue. Within the issue form, you'll be able to describe what new features you want to see in Pocket Congress.
If you want to code a new feature, please open an issue before you start developing! We can work through how to best add and integrate your feature into Pocket Congress.

If you are a student and your school has an academic credit program program, we can work with you and your institution to give you recognition for your work.
There's a lot of flexibility with how a contribution may look. The typical structure would be a Swift Package developed in a subfolder of this repository.
