Where are the End Cities?

End Cities must be enabled in the config. They are disabled by default, and it is not recommended to enable them. End Cities have no spawn checking, meaning they will frequently generate in the void. Additionally, they are rendered obsolete, since all the resources they hold are accounted for by BetterEnd. (Elytra in Gold Dungeons and Shulkers at Shulker Nests)

My server lags when exploring!

You probably haven't pregenerated your world.
It is also recommended to use Paper to increase overall performance and enable async world generation.

The main island's obsidian pillars are missing!

You are running an outdated version of Paper or Spigot.

If you downloaded Spigot from GetBukkit or any similar service, not only is what they distribute illegal, but it is also almost certainly eons out of date. If you are using Spigot (Which is not at all recommended) build it yourself using BuildTools. We recommend using Paper, as it is a drop-in replacement for Spigot that increases performance immensely, plus their paperclip distribution system means that you can legally download it directly from their website, no BuildTools required.

Can you support <version>?

No. The plugin was originally written for version 1.15, and is now being developed for 1.16, with 1.15 compatibility still supported. BetterEnd will be developed on the latest version of Minecraft, with backwards compatibility with previous versions it was developed for being maintained as long as reasonably possible.
It is extremely unlikely that any version below 1.15 will ever be supported, as it makes no sense to use 1.14 or 1.13, as they're both unstable and notoriously slow versions, and 1.12 and below would require a complete rewrite of the plugin, due to the extensive API changes from 1.12 to 1.13.
If you are using a version under 1.15, why? If your argument is that "it performs better", well, you're right, but you can get basically the same performance on modern versions by following the advice given here. Basically, BetterEnd was written to be run using modern software. It will not be ported to legacy software (1.12.2 is 3+ years old), since that would be a waste of development time.
