Chatlio lets you talk with your customers using Slack directly from your WordPress site.

Description

Chatlio is a live chat solution for Slack teams. Visitors to your site see a chat box on their screen and messages are delivered directly to your Slack account. You get all the awesome Slack tools to manage chats and channels along with the immediacy of a live chat, all for the benefit of better customer communication. Each conversation takes place in a dedicated channel and Chatlio will provide you with lots of extra information about the visitor, e.g. email, current plan and where they are chatting from in the world.

Installation

These instructions assume you have already signed up for Chatlio and have gone through the setup on chatlio.com.

1. Download the zip file with the plugin

Download ZIP

1. Unzip the downloaded file and upload the chatlio-for-wordpress folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory

2. In your wordpress admin, go to "Plugins -> Add new"

1. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress

1. Add your widget ID through the 'Tools > Chatlio' menu in WordPress

1. Check your WordPress home page, you should now have Chatlio widget installed
