Hisense
Starting with version 2016-05-xx, ChanSort supports the "channel.db" file format of the latest Hisense UHD Smart-TVs. The ".bin" file format of earlier models is NOT supported.
During the setup of your TV or when you run a new channel search, you have the option to select a predefined "Service Provider" list, depending on your country setting. The default selection is "Other", which is the only option that allows you to customize the list on your TV and export it to USB. Lists from service providers like "ASTRA_LCN" or "SKY" cannot be modified. When exported to USB, the file won't contain any channel data.
To export and import the channel list
- press the Settings button on your remote
- press the right-arrow
- choose the "Channels" menu
- choose "Edit Channels"
- choose "Export to USB" or "Import from USB"
After importing a channel list, press Exit on your remote (the menu doesn't update with the new data).
Your TV will switch to the first input source in the imported file. If it contains antenna and satellite channels, you can switch back to the satellite list by pressing:
- CH.List
- Left
- OK
- Right ... to select an input source
- OK
