Unavailable edit address in FO

Describe the bug and add attachments

On editing address in FO, you always must enter state. Even on countries without states.

Expected behavior

Option State must be only for countries with states

Steps to reproduce

1. Create address with country France or any other without states. Save it.
2. go to address edit by clicking Update
3. click Save

I couldn't either reproduce your issue when editing an address for a country without states!

Could you please check in your BO that you imported Stated for the chosen country !

I'm am having the same problem on 3 different installs (PS version 8.1.1).

This happens only in Google Chrome (desktop and mobile). Firefox, Edge and Opera are not showing the state dropdown when you edit an address for a Country without states from the My Account page.

Also, if you edit the address from the checkout, the form is displayed correctly, the state dropdown is not displayed in Chrome.

You need to add states if you enable this option.

@florine2623 No. We no need add some. This is a bug and is not related to states addition or some.
Already 2 people have confirmed that the bug exists, one only on Chrome, the other on Firefox.
If you don't understand what the bug is, look at the description carefully.
In top of this page I used prestashop demo site and latest browser FF and chrome, everything is clearly visible there

Hello @florine2623

The problem is not about Adding addresses but Editing an existing address with a country that does not contain states. I checked the database and the BO and the option "Contain states" is not enabled for countries that do not have states.

And if you edit an address when you Check Out it shows the correct form without the State field. The problem just occurs in the My Account section.

So, editing an existing address should not contain the State field unless you select a country where states are enabled. It's also inconsistent between browsers.
