okay, sorry for the stupid question. I found it out by myself. But when i understand the code right, then this will generate a list of ALL Categories. Wouldn´t it be more usefull whe the user has the possibility to change the root category for the list? I think this case would be demanded more often. So the user has the abilty to configure a menu item with Category A and all childs, Category B and all childs and so on and even if someone needs it, he can choose the root category with all childs. |

@schibu83 yes, you're right. I tried to write the algorithm with parent category ID yesterday but didn't finish. Maybe I'll finish this week. The result of this options is just a "flat" list of all sub categories and their subcategories - no "nested" sublists. |
