Crashes when I exit after aborting mod update

Description of bug

When I exit the mod screen after aborting an update the whole thing crashes

Steps to reproduce

1. Go to mods
2. update mods
3. abort mod update
4. Close the mod edit window
5. And it crashes

Suspected cause

Mod updater was a bit slow. Maybe it's that?

This issue is unique

• I have searched the issue tracker and did not find an issue describing my bug.

Now it doesn't so maybe it's a rare case. I have the log files so if those are needed I'll provide them
