YourPet Backend API

This is the repository of the YourPet Backend API project, which provides an API for interacting with the YourPet application.

Project overview

This project implements the backend of the YourPet application. It is built on Node.js, using the Express.js framework to implement the API and Mongoose to interact with the MongoDB database.

Requirements

Before you start working with the project, make sure you have the following tools installed on your computer:

• Node.js (version 16 or higher)

Installation.

1. Upload this repository to your local computer.
2. Open a terminal and navigate to the project root folder.
3. Run the command npm install to install the project dependencies.

Configuration.

1. Create the .env file in the project root folder.

2. Specify the necessary environment variables in this file.
