CONQUER needs a new name

We want to choose a new name for the CONQUER web site for two reasons:

1. the current name is colonialist;
2. it excludes graduate students and others considering/planning a career in computing research.

We should brainstorm many names before making a proposal to the CRA-E Board. This will be a collaborative process over time.

Possible new names (so far):

• DISCOVER (does not need to stand for anything)
• PRE.CISE (expanding from the current program for REU supplement students)

@MichaelHilton would like to see a meaningful name.
@ProfJanetDavis unfortunately MyCsPhd is taken (#14 )
@nmady notes that in fact students might use this resource long before they decide to pursue a Ph.D.
@ian-ludden suggests "CS Research Tips" (like CS Teaching Tips)

CRA already has "Computing Research" in it! Being very literal, how about...

• CS Research for Undergraduates - undergrad.cra.org
• CS Research Resources for Undergraduate and Graduate Students - students.cra.org

I like the direction that's headed! Assuming we're keeping the resources for faculty about mentoring student researchers on the same site, though, maybe we could tighten that second one up to something like "CS Student Research Resources" or "CS Student Researcher Resources" because then the site is about resources for "student research" from both the mentor and the trainee side?
