Some of the chameleon live examples look great! Let's say I want to modify my local installation of chameleon.
How could I view the modification (CSS) source code of a live example? How could I copy/paste/re-use the same skin customization for my website? (Use as base for modifications.)
Perhaps if the skin customization is already under a Libre Software license and it can be legally re-used. Or perhaps an agreement with the author can be reached.

I am afraid you will have to individually contact the creators of the respective adaptations of the Chameleon skin and ask them to share how they did it. There is no public repository or documentation on how these people did the changes. A great way to get a kick start is to reuse a custom boostrap template as outline in the existing documentation. However this is only a start since you will definitively want do change things and adapt them for use with MediaWiki.
