WinLine is a terminal emulator for Windows, designed to resemble a GNOME terminal. With support for advanced features, such as custom commands and configurable options, and a range of commands, this terminal is ideal for beginners and experts alike.

This program has partial Linux support. If you want to use WinLine on Linux, you can download the terminal.py file from any release and directly run it. WinLine will automatically enable system-provided commands (these won't be listed in the HELP command, though)

Requirements:

  • Python 3.7, 3.8, or 3.10

Tested Systems:

  • Windows 10 (Home, Pro, and Education)
  • Debian 10
  • Ubuntu 20.04 LTS (Jammy Jellyfish)
