At this point, we should be able to build properly
This is needed since the host toolchain is no longer in the user $PATH

This pull request would import a new build system, and is meant to be paired with a pull request on the main repo adding in the code to create the host toolchain. See my main branch here to see the changes necessary.
The scripts provided here are described in the
README.mdfile, and generally implements what I suggested here.There is some more work to do here, but the build scripts work as-is and the further changes to the toolchain should all take place in the main repository.
