Since the number of users of Opy slowly but steadily grows, it's probably time to have at least a prerelease.
Opy has been in use for a number of multi-year, multi-person commercial projects for several months now.
These projects are all closed source, so cannot be added as tests.

A previous release turned out to be broken by some late breaking changes, due to absence of any regression testing.
To detect the most obvious flaws, a very basic, very incomplete regression test was added.
It really should be expanded, but probably won't for some time to come.

So this is a prerelease indeed, though probably quite functional.
