This is blocked on pyo3 right now as it has hashbrown capped at < 0.14: https://github.com/PyO3/pyo3/blob/v0.19.0/Cargo.toml#L37 so I am going to close this. I do think we should probably bump our msrv after the 0.13.0 release (which is currently blocked on #888) which will at least enable us to get to hashbrown 0.13.x in the meantime.
