Welcome to the Quad-OS[.github.io] wiki! In this wiki you can find out the fundamentals of Quad-OS.

3 Local Storage The Local Storage of Quad-OS

Interface

The layout of Quad-OS is quiet simple, but may require some explaining. On the right of Quad-OS are all of the operating functions. There are;

  • Alpha: 4 buttons and two switches.
    The first button says "Box" on it. This is a link to the Quad-OS version of Box. The second button says "Google" on it. This is a link to a custom google search engine implemented into Quad-OS. The third button says "Game" on it. This is a link to a custom made game implemented into Quad-OS. The fourth Button says "About", which is self explanatory.
    There are two switches. One says "Allow Box" above it. This simply enables and disables Box based off what the user wants. The second switch is currently not in use. The status of all switches are saved using Local Storage.

Functions

Quad-OS has a few functions which I will try to sum up based off the version

  • Alpha: Box (the personal Assistant), Google Custom Search Engine, a game, and toggle-able switches.

Local Storage

Dedicated storage on an internet browser that allows information from a website to be stored, either temporarily or "forever".
